Superlite CMS
Superlite CMS
Superlite CMS is a lightweight, database free content management system that publishes static HTML. It is built for websites that should stay fast, simple and independent of a running CMS on every page view.
The public website is made from static files. PHP is used for administration, publishing and optional module endpoints, not for normal page views.
What Superlite includes
- Block based page editing with bundled Editor.js
- Media library
- Navigation
- SEO metadata, sitemap, robots.txt and Schema.org
- 301 redirects
- Themes with installation and updates
- Modules with hooks, endpoints and scheduled jobs
- Backup and restore
- Core updates with automatic pre update backup and rollback
Public beta
Superlite CMS 0.9.0-beta.1 is the first public beta candidate. The core feature set is frozen while real world testing continues. New site specific functionality should normally be added as a module or theme.
